Chapter 15

The next day when Star got home she found Jon sitting head on his hands thinking. Sitting on the edge of the sofa he tried to work out what had gone so wrong why was she taking her time she knew she wanted him he couldn't understand it. 

"Jon" standing against the door frame Star called out to get his attention. "Jon please look at me" feeling the tension between them both she wondered what was going on, why he looked the way he did. "I just dropped star off out with Mandy shes treating her today their becoming really good friends" Star continued. Seeing he wasnt going to answer her she let out a sigh and turned to walk out again.

"Dont leave please" Looking up Jon stood to his feet and made his way over to her. "I have been thinking my offer stands with you, you are very welcome to stay here and be my PA and live with me but i wont ask anything more from you, I know im not what you want i might be a fantasy for you" he laughed looking down "But you and me will remain as boss and worker forget that night we spent together it was nothing more than another one night stand you had your thrill and now its over" His voice was low and filled with sarcasm he couldnt even look in her eyes. 

Standing with her back to the wall she looked at him trying hard not to cry she could not believe the way he was being with her he was so hurtful his words werent gentle and soft like they usually were he was harsh and his words were cold. Feeling full of regret he didnt want to be that way with her he never intended too but he had to do something she didnt want him and he didnt want to let himself fall any deeper than what he had it was going to be hard as it was.

"Jon why are you being like this" she couldnt help it Star started letting the tears fall she hadnt realised Jon had this side to him it hurt her. "What have i done to you so bad for you to act like this" she questioned him. 

"Your a damn fucking tease" he snapped "You got me so hooked on you and wanting you once you had sex with me you dont want to know now" stopping himself he saw the shocked look on her face. "Star i......." Losing her temper Star walked over to him slapped his face and ran upstairs locking herself in her room Star ran over to the set of drawers and started pulling her clothes out of them. stuffing everything all in a heap she grabbed the suitcase that was put under the bed and started putting everything in. Once she got all her things together she made her way downstairs. 

Stopping halfway she stood looking down at the bottom step. "Excuse me Jon but let me past please" 

"What where you going" The harshness went from his voice instead he looked up starting to shake. "No star please im sorry look baby dont go please" he pleaded getting up n standing in her way "Please let me take your stuff back up Star back up and un pack everything i dont want you to go im sorry i snapped" Jon quickly apologised the shock hit him that she was actually considering on leaving him. "Oh you mean like you just did" she snapped "how could you treat me like that, you lot are all the damn same thank you for everything you have done and thank you for giving me the chance to work for you, you have done so much and i....." Chapter 14

Getting ready for yet another interview Jon looked in the mirror he needed to get back home to talk to star about the night before but the way things were looking he wasnt going to have a voice left. From 8am that morning he had done nothing but interview after interview he was starting to get tired and a little annoyed at the fact that he still had loads more to do looking at the schedule he noticed at least another five shaking his head he turned round expecting his manager to walk through the door any second and rush him along the corridor. Just as he expected the door opened and his manager popped his heard round the door.
"Yeah yeah im coming" Jon sighed. Rolling his eyes he picked up his bottle of water and followed him down to the large white room at the end of the corridor and just like before the reporters were all gathered round a table waiting on him.

Pulling up Star helped her sister out car since she was now living there with Star and Jon Star thought it be a good idea to take her out and see if she could get her more stuff than what she had brought with her. Wheeling her into the shop Star noticed the young woman behind the counter who she had became friends with. "Hey Amanda" Star waved walking over to the counter star leaned over to give her friend a hug
"Big 30th coming this yr huh" Amanda teased
"Oh dear god please dont remind me" Star rolled her eyes and sat on the stool next to the counter.
"Whos this?" Amanda asked smiling at Paige.
"I'm Paige im here baby sister" she smiled holding out her hand.
"Ah so your Paige huh was wondering when she was gonna bring you round" She smiled "My names Amanda but you can call me Mandy if you like" The warmth of her smile made her feel a little more relaxed as she shook her hand Paige sat looking round the shop.
"You have some really nice clothes here mandy" Paige complimented.
"Thank you honey your sister taking you shopping?" she asked.
"Yeah she's moved in with me and Jon till i go back home my contract runs out at the end of the year and well i cant exactly stay here can i?" she asked her friend.

Thinking for a minute Amanda crossed her arms over her chest and looked at her Looking back at Paige she quickly turned to Star again.
"Yes, yes you can stay here" Amanda announced "My place is big enough for us all and i can give you a job you could work for me instead of paying me rent. "Paige honey do you want to go pick stuff out for your self"
"Just remember i have so much here" Star smiled reminding her on wishing she had more to give her.
"Nope darling pick what ever you want baby call it a birthday present"
"What how do you know that" Paige asked acting surprised turning to look at her big sister Star playfully ducked behind her friend.
"Your sister has been bragging about you none stop darling she never shuts up about you she's told me everything about you"
"What, I'm not allowed to brag about my baby sister now?" Star blushed
"Of course sis" Paige giggled going off round the shop to look for some clothes.

Back at home Jon collapsed on the floor he didnt know how much he was prepared to take. If his boss called him for one more interview this week he was going to crack. Closing his he slowly he drifted off to sleep just as Star and Paige was coming through the door going into the living room Paige noticed Jon was home and sleeping on the sofa motioning for her sister to be quiet when she came in Paige pointed to Jon asleep. Walking in she knew it was late so she sat down on the sofa and laid her hand on his chest n gently shook him awake. Opening his eyes Jon looked right into her eyes, not seeing Paige in the corner of his eye he pulled her over him. Kissing her Jon moved his hands up her shirt.
"Now that was something welcoming to wake up to how was your day" He asked holding her close.
"About time" Paige blurted out. Sitting up Jon quickly let go of her looking from star to Paige he went red.
"Oh come on all ready i knew you too have been fancying each other like crazy so instead of putting it off any further do something about besides be fun to have John Bongiovi as a big brother" Paige giggled tilting her head looking at them both. "That way we can deffo move into mandy's house so we dont need to go back home then you can be closer to Jon"

"Whoa Paige honey i..."
"You were going to live with Mandy?" Jon asked stopping her "Whats wrong with living here" Feeling a little put out Jon got up and walked to wards the door. Wishing she had never said nothing Paige looked down, Getting up from the sofa Star followed Jon into the kitchen.
"She never meant it like that she meant once my contract was over we could go live..."
"I didnt want you to leave i just wanted you to live here i would have kept you on for as long as you wanted even if you didnt want me" He explained to her.
"What Jon i ...."
"Let me finish look were not getting any younger Paige is coming up 19 dont you think its bout time we both settled i get lonely sure i have loads fans round me i have the guys i have my job just because im not alone doesnt mean i am not lonely theres a piece of me that's missing that no fan or the lads can fill, when we made live the other night it was because i wanted to i dont want another one night stand" Jon said "Im getting too old to keep fooling round im not in my 20s any more im 48 year old" He sighed leaning against the kitchen counter. "You and your sister could both live here with me regardless if you want to make ago of it but tell me now i dont want to keep going on holding on to something believing i will end up with you and i wont at least that way ill move on and find someone else"

Not known what to say star turned away from him. "Am i at least allowed to have tonight to think about it" she had never been with a man not since Christian her dead sons father walked out and left them alone to struggle with Paige. Nodding he was about to say something after he went to grab a glass he turned round but she had all ready gone. Putting the glass down Jon turned to look at the door sighing he looked up at the walls running his hands over his face he let out a little sigh then sat down at the kitchen table wondering about the answer he would get from Star as soon as morning comes round.

Chapter 13

Thinking about the last thing Jon had told her last night she wondered weather or not to do or say anything on the matter she did like him but he was her boss for crying out loud. Going into the living room her sister was up and watching the tv. Smiling up at her Paige looked up and opened her arms for a hug like she did every morning. Sitting down Star curled up next to her sister.
"What do you want to do today sis" Star smiled looking at her sister
"Maybe we could all do something together if Jon isnt busy" Paige suggested.
"Sure how about if i go ask him" star replied giving her sister a hug she got up from the sofa and made her way up stairs. Coming to a stop out side he room she hesitated a little, took a deep breath and knocked on his door, waiting for an answer stood fidgeting as the thought of last night came back again.
"Star? is everything all right?" he asked stepping to one side to let her in. Going back to his bed Jon sat down and flicked through some of his old things from school. Resting his head back against the bed he looked up at Star.

"Sorry i dont mean to keep you from work but Paige she wanted to know if you would like to do something today... but i can see your busy so never mind" Turning to walk towards the door Jon called her back.
"I'm hardly busy im just going through some old stuff of mine it can wait till later though" pulling himself onto the bed Jon sat and gazed at her. "What did she have in mind?" he asked not taking his eyes from her.
"I have no idea she just wanted to know if you would like to do something the 3 of us" Star replied trying hard not too return his gaze she knew all to well if she looked at those eyes of his it would be hard to tare them away.
"Id love to" Jon smiled getting up and walking over to her. "Will you relax honey please i told you before i am not going to try anything with you" he assured her. Looking up at him she nodded then quickly turned away from him, ill have breakfast on the table for you when you come down.
"Oh i had it sweety i got some when i came back in from my run" he explained.
"Ok well see you when you come down then" Not known how fast to leave his room she darted back through the door and back downstairs.

Just as they were leaving Richie's car pulled up in front of the house, getting out he met up with them on the path as they came out the door.
"Jon your not going any where are you?" he asked
"Yes i am im off out with Star and Paige for the day why" he asked his friend turning to look at him as he slid his keys into his jacket pocket.
"Dude you had ..."
"Cancel them tell him he can wait i am entitled to some time off right"
"Jon you know its not that easy man" Richie sighed seeing the disappointment on his friends face "Look i can tell him your ill but we'll both have our ass's kicked if they find out other wise you for not being there and me for lying, you dont mind going a head with out him for a few do you it will only take a few hours" He explained to star. Shaking her head she continued down the path with Paige

Watching the time tick by there was still nothing from Jon flicking through her phone she kept an eye out too see if he had gotten on the phone to  leave a message, it was getting late and Paige was getting tired. looking over at Paige she saw the disappointment in her eyes.she was getting tired to so that didnt help matters.
"Come on sis lets go back eh" Star smiled walking over and grabbing hold of the wheelchair. "Get some sleep honey we'll be home soon" Once back at home star carried her little sister up to bed tucking her in she lay down on the bed holding her brushing back the hair from her eyes gently. Smiling to herself se recalled exactly how much she looked like mom closing her eyes she drifted off to sleep. "Do you think your fucking clever?" she snapped "We had been waiting out for you since this morning we have not long gotten back i was worried sick about you no phone call no text where the hell have you been" Nearly in tears she was shaking with anger and worry "My sister hasnt had a good day shes more concerned about weather her hero was lying in a hospital bed or not" Star scolded seeing him open his mouth to say something she didnt give him the option to finish. "I dont wanna hear it you stink of alcohol forget it" walking into the living room she felt so mad at him she couldnt bare to look at him.

Known there would only be an argument Jon looked at her and went to bed. Staying up all night  Star was extremely tired but she was just to angry to even think about sleep Looking up at the clock it had just turned 8am getting p off the sofa she hurried round and did everything she did every day sorting out and tidying up not stopping till it was all done taking five minutes out she sat down and before she knew it she was out on the seat curled up fast asleep. Chapter 12

"No i mean have you falling for him?" Paige asked looking up at her from her shoulder. Freezing star didnt know what the hell to answer she really had putting her on the spot there.
"Well you know everyone loves Jon Paige he's sweet kind funny caring amazing to be around not to meantion sexy gorgeous oh god those eyes" star thought out loud. "Every one loves Jon you know ask anyone they will tell you.

Looking at her sister paige wasnt fooled she had been watching them both keep looking at each other smiling on and it all started new years eve she wasnt stupid and she knew Jon had been going on the same way since her nephew was born Paige new her sister had been alone she needed a bit off happiness in her life so if star wasnt going to admit it freely she will have to force it out of her. her and Jon together.
"I was referring to more of being in love with him" she replied "as in really hard falling for him and its not his looks that done it, you both have been sniffing round each other since new years eve why cant you both admit it" Hearing everything that had been sent Jon quickly turned out the room and went into the back garden, Lighting up a cigarette Jon sat down on the swing on the lawn, tilting his head back he looked into the sky the stars were out and it was getting cold, Paige's words spun round in his head. there was no way he was in love with her it was impossible no she wasnt right no way. A few hours later after Star had helped her sister into bed she came back downstairs and ran the water in the kitchen for the dishes. Taking the dish cloth star started to wash up she knew there was a dish washer there but she hated using it she never used one at home so she wasnt gonna start to use one now.
"You always like things done the old fashioned way dont you?" he asked making her jump when he walked into the kitchen.
"Jon for fuck sake dont do that you could give someone a heart attack" she replied trying to laugh it off with out getting embarrassed about it.
"Your sister is a sweet kid huh?" Jon remarked walking over to the sink picking up a towel. Taking the towel off him she put it back down hanging it over the cupboard door she continued to clean the dishes.
"Dont go taken my role from me" she giggled. "your job is the band and mine is too look after your ass and make sure everything is done for you and that you have everything you need"
Before jon could stop himself he blurted out. "Your everything i need" he smiled taking her hand. Dropping the plate into the bowl of  water she splashed herself all over.

Backing up into the corner she stared at Jon trying to work out weather he was bullshitting joking, being serious or just off his head. Tilting her head slightly she nearly stopped breathing when he walked right up to her placed his hands at either side of her head on the wall and leaned right close to her.
"Dont look at me like that Star you know perfectly well what your sister said tonight was true" he whispered putting on a stern voice getting even closer to her standing up strait, standing against her he pressed himself up against her looking in her eyes he kept his hands on the wall at ether side. "And you have made it so obvious by the way" he sniggered. Feeling the warmth of his breath on her neck she tried hard not to start shaking.
"I have no idea what you are talking about" she tried to deny it but her eyes told another story
"Oh i think you do, i noticed it too looking at me when you think i haven't been looking flashing that pretty little smile my way" He chuckled moving one hand down her arm and round her waist holding her against him. "Not that im complaining coz im not" he smiled at her. "I would be lying if i said i wasn't doing the same" his voice turned to a soft whisper. "Please dont fight this if you want some thing go for it nothing is going to stand in your way" Stepping back Jon backed up a little and smiled at her.

"I wont do anything dont worry you know where i am Star i dont bite but dont let what you want go grab it while you can" he offered her the advice then turned and walked towards the door. "Good night star i will see you in the morning" Smiling he turned walked out the room and went to bed leaving her alone in the kitchen. Smiling to himself Jon closed the door and slipped quietly into bed he smiled turning the light off and fell asleep

Chapter 11

It had just turned new years eve Paige had been with them a few days Star seemed alot happier now her sister was closer to her and she went back to her old self. Jon watched from a distance the way she mothered her a little bit she was more of a mother figure in her younger sisters life than a sister he didnt want to ask scared that he might rake up something he shouldnt so he left it. It was a shame that she had lost her child she would have made a good mom. Stopping at his side Star watched her younger sister as she settled down on the sofa and pull out her book from her bag that Jon had bought her. Smiling proudly Star turned to Jon.

"I guess your wondering why i mother her so much?" she guessed part of what he was thinking as she watched on as her sister began to get tired. 

"I am a little curious but i wasnt going to ask" He answered looking a little worried. 

"Its fine really, come on ill put the kettle on and tell you" well back when Paige was born i was 11 well nearly my father was drunk he beat and rapped my mom my mom was too week to keep fighting she was dying from the amount of wounds he had giving her so one night he came in it horrible we heard the door slam shut all went quiet and then .... nothing i found her dead on her bed when i got up so i took myself and Paige and we survived all on our own i trusted no one to help us i trusted no one full stop so really i had to be mom dad and sister it hasnt been easy" she reminisced clutching the sides of the counter "What time are you supposed to be going out hun" Star just remembered on.

Looking at his watch he tapped it and looked back at her. "3 hours ago" He laughed but i actually cancelled it i would rather spend my new year alone with you and that sweet sister of yours" he smiled at her.

"Yh but i thought it was some big party"
"Trust me i seen loads of parties over the years im sure missing one wont kill me" Jon laughed. "Besides you too have been amazing to have round" Putting his coat up on the door Jon walked over to her and slid his hands round her waist. "Its going to be new year soon" hears music kick in. "May i have this dance?" he asked softly his voice came out almost like a whisper as he laid his cheek against hers. 

"Sure why not" she smiled moving her hands up slowly till they were round his neck and looked in his eyes as they moved slowly to the music. "Thank you for these past few weeks they have been amazing you know i have loved it here and im going to enjoy my time here with you" turning away star new it wouldn't last forever taking a few minutes to clam herself down she looked back up at him. "I will miss you know that, at the end of my contract i am going to miss you so much i know i will never get to see you again unless i come to a concert" the sadness rang through her voice loud and clear as she went to pull away. 

"Just because the contract ends doesnt mean we have too" he replied pulling her back to him. "It's been fun having you here i would still like to be friends with you, i would hope that wouldnt stop in fact why dont i just hire you full time you and your sister could live out here full time" he suggested. "You would still get paid and you could live here ill ever ... ill get your sister a new leg" Jon offered holding her close seeing the time on the wall. Looking back at him Star didnt know what to say he hadnt known her very long and he was offering her so much. she had to think long and hard about it but what was the catch about to say she would need to think about it the clock chimed midnight Paige had all ready falling off Jon picked star up pushing her against the wall he kissed her pushing his tongue in her mouth massaging hers with his. Kissing him back Star went to rip his top off but pushed him away. Looking a little guilty like before Star attempted to back away from him but this time Jon wasnt going to let her get away so easily pulling her back against him he held his arms fully round her kissing her again. 

Chapter 10

Waiting patiently at the gates he kept a look out for the young girl getting off the plain. hoping she would get there okay he attempted to try and push forward a little, sure enough a young girl about 18 came through in her wheel chair wearing the biggest smile she could have. Wasnt everyday you got the chance to go and stay with your hero, she was a huge fan of the band she discovered them through her sister. Spotting her Jon walked over and introduced himself.
"Paige?" he smiled bending down so he could look at her in the eyes. Going red in the face Paige blushed she couldnt believe this was happening to her. Taking his hand she gazed at him trying hard not she tried to pull her eyes away from him. Smiling at her he took her hand and kissed it not even looking at the fact she was missing her left leg.
"Now i see where Star gets her looks from" he chuckled holding her close to him. Blushing Paige went red and looked looked round a little nervous. "Where is she"
"Well your sister is in a bad mood with me today i sent her right to the far side of town just so i could get you back there with out her noticing, you see she doesnt know you were coming and i wanted this to be a surprise for her i know how much she has missed you" he smiled walking with her out to the taxi.

Getting her into the car Jon folded up the wheelchair and put it into the back of the jeep. closing the boot he jumped into the front and started off on his way back home.
"Did you think i was a joke?" he smiled turning the corner to pull out the airport parking lot.
"A joke?" Paige asked looking a little confused
"I mean did you believe it was actually me" he smiled.
"Oh yeah i know my sister works for you so i believe that for that reason" she answered quietly.
"Your sister tells me loads about you" He smiled turning off driving through town. "I know she loves you very much darling she never stops talking about you" he laughed.
"Yeah?" Looking up at him Paige got a little curious and tilted her head wondering what she had been saying about her. "Like what?"
"How much she loves you and how she couldnt be prouder of you. I know how much you mean to her and that she misses you with all her heart"
"I miss her too, i didnt really want her to come but i know it was better pay for her and its been really hard for her having to support us both, i can remember the days when she would go with out to make sure i had what i needed i love my sister she means everything to me" Paige told him looking out the window. "I cant wait to see her again".

Pulling into the drive Jon got out first too bring the wheelchair out first so that Paige could get in it. closing the boot he set it up and wheeled it round the side helping her in Jon looked round too see if the car she always drove was back in the drive way luckily it wasnt going as careful as he could he got Paige up the stairs and into the house. Looking round in shock Paige couldnt believe it she was actually in her heros home and it was nothing like what she thought she expected their to be loads of fancy items up on the wall in it being a huge mansion but it was nothing like that it was small cosy and just like hers back home. For some reason she felt rather relieved about it maybe he wasnt into all the big flashy things and he definitely seamed really nice she didnt feel as up tight as she thought she would when she met him. Hearing the door open Jon give the young girl a hug and went too see who it was struggling in with cart loads of shopping Star almost stumbled on her ass. Grinning away like a treasure cat Jon told her to leave the bags at the door and he would carry them through.
"Oh im glad you are loving this i really am the amount of bags im going through because they have ripped on me is pathetic" She snapped storming back out too the car.

Walking past Paige walking into the kitchen he give her a wink and joined his friend out at the car. Going over to her he took the bags off her and held her tightly by the shoulders to stop her from jumping around like an annoyed little girl throwing a tantrum because she cant get her own way. Not being able to help the smile across his face he couldnt help laugh at her when she asked him what his problem was.
"Your trying to piss me off i hope you know that" she scolded pulling away from him, picking up the bags again she made her way inside. "I suppose help is out the question im telling you Jon i really dont know how to ...." stopping dead in the middle of the floor she saw her sister sitting on the sofa. Dropping everything on the floor she turned to Jon "but how" she asked him.
"I knew you were missing her so i thought i would fly her out here for you" Jon smiled.
"Thank you" Hugging Jon she didnt know how fast to get over to her little sister dropping to her knees she flung her arms round her hugging her as tight as she could not wanting to let her go.

Chapter 9

Over the next too weeks Jon tried everything to get her to talk again but nothing was working she kept shrugging it off no matter how hard it was get her too look at him again he always thought he would win her over but he couldn't hunching down on the hill bank over looking the ocean Jon tried to make sense of what happened she was making a deal out of nothing they nearly kissed but it never got that far she freaked out and ran to her room. he squinted his eyes a little as he looked out trying to put something together what to say to her because weather or not she liked it they were going to sit down and talk about it she worked for him they lived under the same roof they were supposed to be friends they had to talk at some point. Making his way back home it started getting dark the sun had all ready started to go down and the light grew fader, Standing at the gate to his home he looked at the window there she was at the desk by the window. Her face was lit up with the lights from the out side shining on the window she must have been sitting doing the paper work because she never uses that room other wise. Almost sure she had done it this morning he crept in the back through the kitchen and slowly sneaked in the door to the office luckily the door was open. Star was sitting with her head over the desk playing with the pen she never noticed Jon walk in.

Thinking about what to write to her sister star felt the tears running down her face, she loved her and missed her she had felt so bad about not calling her the last few days after promising that she would she felt mean and hoped that her sister would forgive her after everything they had both been through she felt like she had let her down she never wanted to leave her but of course her little sister insisted on it. At the age of 11 her little sister and her were in a accident she was driving home after picking her up from a friends house it was late and the rain was coming down heavy and it was hard to see out with her child in the back crying and her little sister on the passenger seat telling her all about her day and what happened the night before at the sleep over. She was to busy involved up in her little sisters night she didnt pay any attention to large truck that was serving out of control coming in the other direction, till it was too late. Her car was over turned and flung down the side of the mountain and she had been knocked out cold. Thinking about the day only made her even more upset and  miss her sister more. Now seven years on her sister had not long turned 18 it was just after that that she had to leave her she didnt want to but it only upset her sister because she wanted her to go out and live her life she was all ways that way sure she loved her sister round her but she thought she was being a burden by keeping her at her side.

It was going to be Stars 29th birthday soon and the only thing she wanted was her sister to be with her. Every Year she spent time out with her sister doing stuff they both loved doing Paige wasnt just her sister she was her best friend they never argued and if they ever did it was only playfully they had a strong friendship and thats why when that night happened and they thought they couldnt save her at the hospital Star was willing there and then to take her own life feeling the tears run down her face she still had no idea that Jon was stood behind her. Getting up she picked up the phone and her pen and paper and turned round, Seeing Jon come out of the shadows by the door she jumped dropping everything all over the place.
"Bloody hell dont you know its rude to sneak up on people like that?" she snapped not meaning too.
"Hey im sorry i ..." Stopping himself he noticed how upset she was and walked over to her. Putting the pad, pen and phone down on the table he hugged her.
"You look like you could use someone to talk to honey" he whispered. "Come on ill put the kettle on" he offered gently walking with her into the living room Jon sat her down then quickly made his way into the kitchen to make them both a coffee.

Curling up on the seat the tears still fell from her eyes rubbing them she made them sore and irritated but she didnt care she just wanted her sister, she might have forgiven her but she could never forgive herself. Coming back through he sat her up and put an arm round her after placing the cups on the fireplace.
"Do you want to talk about it" He asked her taking her hand in his comforting her.
"No not really" Star replied keeping her head down not looking at him.
"You need to talk to someone your hurting real bad" Jon pointed out "I have noticed it today as soon as you got up all the way till i went out i come back and your in floods of tears, come on Star I'm your friend i want to help you" he insisted refusing to back down this time.
"Its a long story" she sighed sitting back.
"I have all night and the rest of my time with you actually cross that i have forever, i will always be here for you were friends after all right?" he smiled warmly at her.

Listening to what had happened to them both that night Jon tightened his grip round her not enough to hurt though.
"I thought i would have to have two funereal's my poor baby and my sisters i managed to get out but i couldnt see my sister the car was leaking you could smell it i was covered in blood i was panicking i didnt know what to do, lucky for me there was a car passing by the man was kind enough to help out but the the time he got down the car went up not giving up the man risked his own life to get my sister out before it really was too late and just as she was pulled to safety the whole thing blew sky high i thought she was dead or not far from it she was hardly bleeding and her leg had been crushed badly. she had been burnt and her leg was so badly torn and crushed she had to lose it because of me because of my fucking behaviour i almost cost my sister her life and my little boy died" she cried. Taking her in his arms he held her close trying to comfort her. Getting herself in such a bad state she never drank her coffee instead she curled against Jon and cried herself to sleep.

Laying her down on the sofa Jon covered her with his jacket walking into the study he found the bit of paper which read Paige and a number under it. Picking it up he tiptoed into his room taking the phone with him and called the number on the paper. 

Chapter 8

It was the last day of camping both of them quickly packed the tents and everything else away and hurried to get back in the car the bad weather was starting up again and after the last night they were here Jon wasnt on planning to fall ill especially when he knew he had work he needed to do. Pulling away they were just getting away from the woodland area and the sound of thunder echoed right round them. 

"Jesus christ i hate the damn thunder" star shuddered sliding down in the chair pulling the coat over her. Closing her eyes to try and blank it out she soon drifted off too sleep. Once back at home instead of waking her up Jon carried her up to bed pulling the covers back with one hand he laid her down and gently pulled the covers over her to keep her warm moving back down stairs Jon went into the studio and sat down at the desk putting his feet up he thought about the week he had just spent with her out in the woods camping looking up at the walls he let out a little sigh. Flicking thru his notes from the last week he tried to concentrate something just wasnt right for the past 2 days he felt a little strange he just wasnt feeling right not in a bad way just a little on the weird side. 

Sitting on the sofa Jon started flicking thru the channels it was pushing on for the game so he grabbed can out the fridge and opened it just as Star walked into the room. 

"Hey have a good sleep?" he asked her moving his legs so she can sit down. 

"Yeah thank you, what time is it?" she asked yarning curling up at the far side of the sofa. 

"We got home about 11 its now 5" He grinned "But its ok you were tired" he assured her smiling up at her showing her it was ok.

"Yeah still im sorry  Jon" i slept the whole day that's one day less work done" She apologised not feeling right about it "Ill get right on it" Getting up she felt his hand on her arm. Reaching out Jon pulled her back down. 

"Do i look like im bothered whats one day huh?" he told her "Go get a drink we could watch the game together if you like" He offered. 

Not that she was much of a fan of football she continued walking into the kitchen grabbed herself a bottle and went and sat back with Jon on the sofa to watch the game. Through out the whole game the 2 never realised just how close they had both gotten then when the game had finished Star looked up she could feel his arm round her shoulder, there they both were he was laying on the out side and she was on the in of the sofa her head on his chest she cold feel the beating of his heart, the warmth of his skin against her cheek lifting from under his top. Lifting her head she looked into his eyes, gazing back a smile crept along his face leaning into kiss her she got really close to him and pulled away jumping up. Getting to her feet Star stumbled over the table nearly falling face first getting to her feet she didnt see Jon walk over to her. Touching her shoulder he tried to grab her to calm her down but instead she ended up on her ass over the table. closing her eyes with embarrassment Star held her hands over her face. 

"Im sorry oh my god im sorry" she apologised her words all ran into each other she could feel herself starting to shake bad with the nerves and going red in the face. Touching her hand he tried to explain it was ok but she wasnt going to have it, jumping up with out looking at Jon she darted up the stairs and into her room locking the door and right under the covers shaking she wrapped the covers right round her and stayed curled up trying to make out what had just happened.

Chapter 7

The next morning when Jon woke up he made his way outside looking round he couldn't see her anywhere walking down to the waters edge he scanned over the lake to see if he could see her swimming again.

"Beautiful site huh really nice early in the morning".
Almost jumping out his skin he turned round to see her kneeling over a fire with a rabbit on the ground by her.

"What are you doing with that?" he asked looking a little disgusted
"We are eating it dear stop turning your nose up its good for you" she laughed preparing it then getting everything ready for cooking it with. 

"Is there anything you don't do" Jon asked her sitting down not taking his eyes from the rabbit. 

"Depends what you mean" Star asked looking round before walking in her tent.
"I mean what dont you do you can do everything including things like killing animals which usually is a mans job coz woman usually cringe at it are you sure your not a man" he asked her still looking amazed at her.

"Isn't that slightly sexist" she asked looking up at him "I mean in my view anything you men can do im sure us woman can do just the same" Not known where that came from star stood back up after lighting the fire she felt a little shocked with herself that she would even dare talk to him like that.

Trying not to smile Jon was actually relieved this girl wasn't like any other fan that he had come across she talked to him like a human being and wasn't up in his face trying to get in the pants. Joining her side he knelt down and insisted on taking over.
"Go on go get dressed its gonna get a little cold today i don't want you getting cold on me" he smiled warmly at her.
"Well arent yo thoughtful" Star grinned kissing his cheek she stood up and walked into her tent to get ready. Forgetting to close the door to the tent properly Jon could see right into the tent not being able to stop himself instead of setting the fire he found something even better to look at. watching her carefully he couldn't take his eyes from her.
Unaware she was being watched Star pulled her top off and undone her bra reaching into the suitcase she felt the chill come on from the door. Seeing her turn round Jon quickly turned his attention back trying to light the fire. Closing the tent door she went back to see if she could find anything warmer to ware.

Digging her way down to the bottom she found her pair of jeans with the rips in and her purple sweater that was lying on the bottom pulling out the black lace bra she had packed she quickly got dressed then made her way back out.
"Still not got the fire ready i see" She smirked."come here ill do it" Star smiled taking over from him.
"You can try all you want i havent been....." seeing a spark out the corner of his eye he turned just in time to see the fire light up. sitting in disbelief he stared at the open fire.
"Where did you come from?" he asked her eventually looking in her eyes. "I have never known anyone like you"
"You wanna know? you really wanna know?" she asked him trying not to smile.
"Of course i do" He smiled sitting up letting her sit on the sleeping bag with him.
"Ok but you might be scared off" she grinned sitting down by him she hunched herself up. "Im from some where very far from here you guys would think im an alien"
"Where is that Canada?" he joked.
"Nope somewhere more complicated, you know that strange place called ..... oh i dunno if i should tell you or not i might have to kill you" She giggled."And i dont wanna do that"

"Come on tell me" he replied trying not to get impatient.
"Mars" she giggled standing to her feet and looking at the lake she felt Jon's "I'm not amused" look on the back of her. Turning round she saw his face his smile had went and he really didnt look amused.
"Ok ok I'm sorry what do you want to know no more funny business" she apologised.
"That really wasnt funny you know that, Lets see you have been living with me now for nearly over 2 weeks and you have hardly told me anything about your self have you, how about you start from the begging your favourite colour what things your into your favourite animal anything about yourself"  

"How about if i couldnt tell you theres some things about me i would rather not discus" Star now lost her smile too feeling a little offended that he couldnt just be happy with what he was told in the paper work she sat down by the singer and looked down. Realising he had obviously turned up some ground that was better left flat he went quiet not wanting to upset her any more than he had done.

Seeing the rabbit was almost done Star gently lifted it off the stick and began to cut it up sharing it out onto the plates she walked out onto the pier and sat eating it watching as the sun light up the lake making it sparkle.
Standing to his feet Jon made his way over and sat down looking in the same direction as she did.
"I'm Sorry Star i had no business asking that of you i know all to well that if you wish to tell me about your life you will do so in your own time." He acknowledged turning to him she looked in his eyes.
"Jon its not that i dont want to tell you its just i cant im sorry for snapping at you i apologise i really am truly sorry but things arent exactly great right now i havent exactly had it easy but i still had no right taking it out on you, you dont know any better" she whispered. "So it is me that should be the one that apologises"
Putting his arm round her she laid her head on his shoulder and smiled a little up at him.
"Would you like to go for a walk?" he asked her looking back at her.
"I would love too" she smiled getting up. Standing to his feet she took his hand as they made their way back along the pier and up thru the trees. Admiring the beautiful scenery round them she forgot all about their petty quarrel and started to enjoy the evening.

They had been walking for hours until they finally came to a stop at the start of the another clearing hearing water running they decided to walk a little further forward and stopped at the edge of a little cliff over looking a large waterfall that was surrounded by a small lake and tall walls of the surrounding cliffs flowers ran over the faces of them and the old willow tree that leaned tall out over the water at the bottom.
"Oh my god this is beautiful" Star smiled trying to get closer to the edge.
"Whoa where you going get back here, what are you doing dont go over to the edge you could slip" pulling her back he wrapped his arms round her and looked over the edge then turned his attention back to her.
"Please dont do that i dont want to take you to hospital" he scolded still not letting her go until he backed up a little. Seeing the worry in his eyes she looked down. "I only wanted to get a better look" she protested.
"Then we go down there your not gonna go out onto that ledge when theres a chance of you falling and seriously hurting yourself or worse"

Staying quiet Star followed him down the side down by the little pond where the water fall ran into she knew he had give him a scare but thats the way she was she always lived a little dangerously she couldnt help it. Even though it was the way she was she knew she had to change he really didnt like it when she put her self at risk even though she knew perfectly well what she was doing she had been living like this most of her life. After spending a few hours down by the waterfall they headed back to camp just in time for it starting to rain. Jumping into her tent star pulled the tent door as fast as she could hearing Jon in the tent beside her he sounded cold walking back out into his she knelt down by the sleeping bag.
"God what the hell happened in here, everything is soaked through, has it been raining or something?" she quizzed looking round.
"Yeah just now" he cursed kicking at the bag.
"Jon relax come into mine at least everything is dry in there and its pretty warm for being a tent" she smiled.

Seeing he was cold she tucked him up so he cold keep warm then lay down on the floor. Looking at her he became a little confused.
"Your not sleeping out on that its too hard and you will freeze" he pointed out.
"No no i will be ok really" She smiled thinking that he was just concerned.
"I am not asking you i am telling you, dont worry i wont try anything" He replied pulling the zip back down and laying on his side.
"I'll squash you no way Jon" she answered curling up in the corner.
"Then i will get out too then if your not gonna keep warm why should i?"
"Your being awkward Jon you do know that" she sighed getting up and sliding in to the sleeping bag with him. Putting his arm round her Jon rested his head on her shoulder. "Goodnight" he whispered
"Goodnight Jon" she replied feeling a little nervous having him so close to her turning her head a little she looked right into his sparkling blue eyes. Smiling back at her he kissed her cheek and wished her a good night once again before closing his eyes and drifting off to sleep still with his arms round her he held her close to him  with the sleeping bag fastened right up. 

Chapter 6

Loading up the truck Jon pulled his boots on and turned too look at Star as she pushed some of the bags right to the back up against the back of the seats climbing back out she closed the boot and turned to look at him.

"You ready to hit the road then" she smiled jumping in the truck and putting her seatbelt she had been looking forward to this all week and nothing could spoil her day. 

"Ready as ill ever be" Jon replied jumping in the truck beside her. He was right since that night they had become pretty good friends he never let her work as hard in fact it was more for the company he let her sit in the studio and listen they went out to the beach they even got movies to watch and Ice cream to nibble on a few times that week. Watching out the window she never took her eyes from the out side as they drove the woodland area cutting the to the clearing she was amazed at how beautiful some of these parts actually were.
Eventually they came to a stop the trees toured high above them looked so amazing the smell of the fresh air only got her more excited walking down to the edge of the water she looked round this was exactly her idea of a good time out didnt need any money it was peaceful and she got to sleep out side with out making herself look homeless.

Not that she would complain if she thought she could manage out in the wild she would probably live out here.
"It is so beautiful out here i didnt even know this place existed" she smiled looking up at you "We used to come out this way all the time too" she smiled taking her attention right back out the lake. "Well better get the tents up eh" she smiled opening the boot to get them out the boot.
"Here let me help y..."  Standing back in amazement Jon watched as she pulled both tents out the back and placed them down.
"You were saying" Star flashed him a quick smile before continuing with the tent. "Go look for some wood or something so i can make a fire by the time you get back the tents will be up and everything inside the way it should be sleeping bag down the lot" Star smiled looking at him as she undone the case that held the tent in place. Looking at her amazed Jon slipped away and went too look for firewood.

Sure enough when he got back both tents were up dropping the wood in the centre of the camp he walked out to the start of the lake not seeing her at first Jon turned too the pier and saw her as she slipped out. His jaw dropped as he watched her push her wet hair back and walk along the pier back to where the tents were trying hard not to make it like he was staring at her. Coming to a stop by his side she bent right down after drying herself off and started a fire.
"You never seem to stop amazing me you know that" Jon smiled looking at you "I must admit your the only girl i know that doesnt bitch on about getting her nails dirty or sleeping on the ground or doing any where near as half the work as what you do" he complimented "I thought i was gonna get some one like that if it was a girl but you are really something you know that" Jon remarked.
"Why thank you" Star blushed sitting down on the grass she looked at the fire. "You know what its a beautiful night out" Hurrying into the tent she brought her sleeping bag out and laid it down. "Think right here will do nicely" she smiled flashing him a quick smile.
"Your sleeping out here?" he asked looking puzzled
"Yeah i dont see why not beautiful warm night be fun" she sreplied getting into the sleeping bag.
Laughing Jon opened the door to his tent and turned too look at her. "Good night Star"
"Good night Jon" star replied settling down and looking up at the stairs till she fell asleep.

Chapter 5

Finishing off her hair Star pushed most of it up and let the rest drop by the sides of her face applying her make up as carefully as she could she sighed as she sat looking in the mirror. What was it with men they were just going to sit down and have dinner and he still expected her to do herself up. Well he was the boss and there was no way she was going to argue with him when he asked her to do something when he paid her wages unless she thought it was something worth mentioning like today bloody hell she thought standing to her feet she looked at her self once again then put her earrings in. Straightening herself up she smiled a little to herself and made her way downstairs. 

"Sir, Jon I'm ready now i ....." Looking round confusion struck her as she noticed he wasn't there Looking round the other rooms she was about to go into the kitchen when the sound of a car horn got her attention. Making her way over to the window she looked out and saw a large white limo sitting out side with the driver at the door holding it open looking directly at her. What the hell was he playing at she thought to herself. 

Opening the door she grabbed her keys and made her way down the path trying not too look un grateful she sat in the back about to close the door herself till the driver beat her to it. 

"Wow you look beautiful" the familiar sound of her boss's voice made her head snap round too look towards the front, glaring at him she folded her arms across her chest. 

"Oh dear your not too happy with me are you" Jon asked trying to keep a straight face. he couldn't take her seriously he thought it was kind of funny the way she could look so attractive but really annoyed at the same time. Seeing the amusement on his face she turned too look out the window.

"What the hell is so funny" she questioned him eventually turning round trying to stay mad at him but it was so hard when those beautiful blue eyes cut through her shaking them off she continued to look out the window as to not get distracted.

A few seconds later she could feel his warm breath on her neck and it made her shiver turning round to look at him he was so close they nearly touched inching away from him she sat fidgeting on with her hands on her lap. 

"You know you should warn people before you jump on them like that" Star whispered feeling a little flushed 

"I'm sorry i ... maybe your right huh maybe i should turn round and go back, I am sorry i just wanted to let you know we could be friends and maybe have a relationship other than worker and employer you know but if you wanted to ..." Seeing her change Jon stopped mid sentence, waiting on her answer he backed up a little himself.

"You wanted to be friends?" trying hard not to laugh Star covered her mouth trying her best not to start laughing.

"Now your laughing" he pointed out. "What's so funny you think 2 people cant be friends because ones the boss and ones the worker" he couldn't believe she was sitting there smirking at him. "And what is wrong with that?" he quizzed tilting his head a little trying to work out what was to laugh about.

"Your my boss i work for you that's bloody unheard of" Star giggled.

"Oh really?" Jon asked her folding his arms now and sitting back in the chair he moved his foot onto his knee. "You think it cant be done?" he asked her "Well how about we just find out eh, i get a week off next week were going camping"
"Camping?" Looking at him in disbelief she turned right round to look at him

"Unless you would rather not get your nails dirty" he mocked "or are you just too scared to sleep among the bugs" Jon teased unfolding his arms and relaxing a little. 

"Me scared? Jon you have to be kidding right? ok your on" she smiled sitting back with her whole back resting against the back of the chair looking out the window. Jon smiled at her and did the same right till the car stopped. Making sure he was the first out the car Jon always did remember his manners running round to the other side he opened the door for her and held out his hand so she could take it. Smiling he kept really close to her with his arm round her waist.

Right thru out the meal Jon tried to keep as quiet as he could he would rather know about her life but no matter how many hints he dropped she wasnt letting on to any of it. On the way home they both sat close on the back seat and before to long Star had drifted off resting her head on his shoulder. Putting his arm round her jon smiled down at her still trying to work her out, what about her life could be so bad she didnt want anyone known about it. Back at home Jon lifted her still sleeping out the car got the driver to open the door for him and carried her up to bed laying her down he noticed the photo of her with her little sister just like Star her sister had pretty shinning eyes that stood out in the light she had shoulder length hair and her smile copied Stars right down they would have looked like twins if it wasnt for the height and obvious age difference they would have been. Star was slightly taller than her sister but that was probably the only visible thing telling them both apart. Smiling he covered her up and walked back out the room turning the light off before closing the door as quietly as he could as not to wake her.  

Chapter 4

The next morning when she woke up the alarm was going off and the sun had crept in thru the blinds. Getting up Star jumped into the shower got dressed and ran down stairs to start her daily routine for her new boss getting everything done she was just in time for Jon getting up when she was putting his mail on the table and dishing up breakfast for him. Flashing her a smile he wished her a good morning and sat down ready to eat.
"Wow im impressed" he smiled "everything thing done?" he asked her digging into his meal.
"Everything and that is including all the filing that needed done and your appointments al sorted and put into order of when they are" Star explained.
"Have you had time to eat your self?"
"Nope i just been working for the hour and then afterwards i will go out for the shopping once the dishes and stuff has been done"
"Get something first, I'm not an monster sweetheart you can have a breather i hardly recognised the place when i got up, you worked pretty hard thank you"

Taking him up on that she walked to the fridge poured herself a glass of orange she looked at him taking little sips out of the glass she was hungry but she couldnt eat not yet any way and decided to pass on eating and stick with the drink looking at him she couldnt help but laugh at his expression on his face.
"Thought you were getting something to eat"
"This is my something to eat" she smiled "I'm not very expensive to keep i eat next to nothing and i never really need much and i wont ask for anything from you ever" she replied scurrying round the kitchen doing the dishes that had been used ad sitting round.
"You are very strange you know that" Jon remarked "I have never known a woman like you" he continued. Looking at her in amazement his eyes never left her. "Are you sure you know who i am?" he asked her.
"John Frances Bongiovi you were born in jersey 1962 your the lead singer of Bon jovi that started round..."
"Ok so you know how i am" He chuckled "you a fan"
"I am yes i have been since good knows when" Star answered softly "Dont worry i wont jump you or anything" she joked "I love the band i love your music and i love everything you have done for charity and stuff"she added before hurrying out the door.

Not taking his eyes from her he watched in amazement as she walked out the room she was so genuine any one else wouldnt have acted like that with him getting up he stood watching her from the door way she wasnt taking any notice of him she was getting on on with her work not even looking up she finished off in the hallway and carried in up the stairs. It took her another hour or so to do the whole up stairs exactly how she new he loved it when she came back down stairs Jon was no where to be seen looking round she heard the sound of laughing coming from down the hall way walking down slowly she came across his studio and there he was laid back on his chair feet up laughing and joking on with the rest of the band. she couldnt believe it Bon jovi were just on the other side of the wall she was so close but she wasnt a kid any more she could control her excitement. Feeling eyes on him David spun round to see her looking at him getting a little freight she stumbled back and slipped on her ass.
"Thats Star she is my PA" looking worried that she had fallen Jon jumped up and ran out the studio. "Are you ok?"  He asked running to her side. Holding his hand out he pulled her to him and checked her over.
"Yeah im good" she whispered going bright red. "I am sorry i never meant to intrude" she apologised.

Taking her hand before she knew it Jon pulled her into the studio. "Everyone i would like you to meet Star she is my new assistant" he smiled holding his arm round her waist.
"David" Dave smiled holding his and out. "Over there on the drums Teek well Tico r...."
"Richie on the guitar your on the keyboards and Hugh .... " She smiled "Is on bass right?" she answered.
"Yeah" David replied sitting down looking at her.
"So Star is it?" Richie asked looking right up hearing her voice.
"Hello Richie" Star answered instantly directing her eyes in his direction. "Excuse me Jon but i still have a lot of work i need to do" she apologised excusing herself.
"No no of course tell you what why dont you take the rest of today off you have been working since 8 this morning its 1pm now go on" Jon smiled warmly at her walking her out the room.
"But Jon i ...."
"No but Jons about it" he smiled "take the day off go have fun you deserve it" Giving her a quick hug Jon pushes some money into her hand.
"Jon no i told you i ..." Not taking any notice of her he went to walk away "Oh yeah one more thing out of that money bye a nice dress and what ever else you girls like to wear" he smiled.
"A dress" now she was confused what the hell was she wanting a dress for, watching after him she went to walk away" "A dress i never ware dresses"
"You do tonight your joining me for dinner tonight" he smiled at her "Go crazy n keep what ever is left of the money" he smiled.

Just about to argue back Jon hurried into the studio and shut the door behind him. Getting her coat she pulled out the car keys he had left for her and walked into the garage too look for the car he had giving her pressing the button on the key and saw out of the corner which car it was. Turning to her right she looked over in the corner at the gorgeous Red Ferrari, walking over she couldn't believe her eyes scanning over it. Opening the car door Star stepped inside closing the door slowly she looked round only in her dreams had she dreamt of driving a car like this and now she actually was. Opening the garage door star started up the car and drove out and headed off into town. Coming across the car park she pulled up and had a wonder round seeing a dress store she walked over and seen a beautiful long black dress fell right down her legs to her ankles the bodice style top was gorgeous standing their she tried to imagine herself in it not seeing the shop keeper smiling at her from the door way.
"Beautiful dress huh?" she smiled making her jump. "Would you like to try it on?" she asked star seeing her interest in it.

Nodding Star followed the old shop keeper into her store looking at the dress as the woman took it down she smiled to herself taking it gently she went round the back to try it un aware of her being followed she slipped into the dress. Turning round she admired herself in the mirror
"Is she in there? Jon asked walking into the shop. Not seeing him she walked out with a huge grin do you think he would like it?" Dodging out the road Jon hid behind the desk
"I am sure he is going to love it" The old woman smiled "For a boyfriend?"
"What no no way hes my boss he wants me to join him for dinner tonight and well he wanted me to pick up a dress to ware for it not that i ware em much but i have to make an effort i suppose" Star smiled still not noticing Jon crouched behind the desk.
"Your new boss he must be loaded right?"
"Yeah he is, he keeps giving me money but what im paying for this dress is more than enough he will get the rest back i didnt even want to take it but he more or less thru it at me, maybe i should just put the dress back it feels wrong"

Looking at her the woman walked to her side and put her arm round star. "Would he not be offended if you did?" she asked "Its such a beautiful dress maybe he thinks you deserve it"
"I only started to work for him since last night and besides this much ... its really beautiful im just not used to it" Star admitted tilting her head. "He can be stubborn by the looks of things but i can be even worse" she sighed. "Maybe just this one thing eh hes gonna get told no" she sighed "I dont want him thinking i am here just coz of who he is" Star sighed going to get changed.
"Why who is it?" The shopper keeper asked as if she didnt all ready know.
"Jon Bongiovi" star smiled getting her self back through and getting changed. Turning to Jon the old woman was about to tell him to get out of there when Star came back thru.
"So you taking it?" she asked star standing behind the counter.
"Yes but me and him are having words when i get home which will be right after here" she sighed handing the money over and walking out the shop.

Turning to look at the woman Jons face lit up.
"You do know your in trouble right" she tried not to smile
"Yep but its gonna be worth it" He grinned she wroked so hard never complained and besides its more of a thank you shes a fan but shes not like any the fans i have ever met shes different" He sighed smiling from ear to ear watching her get in the car and drive off. "Im going to ask her to move in and be a full on live in assistant"
"Do you think she will do it"
"Come on its me how could she turn me down" he joked "Well see you soon thank you for that" he smiled bowing before he turned and left.

Chapter 3

That week had started off bad it gradually got worse but then it ended really well, The singer was now ready just to put his feet up and relax that month had been one hell of a roller-coaster ride for him some good parts some bad but now the month was almost over there was only one thing left and he was waiting on him or her to show up. he had put in for a new assistant because things were just getting to much for him when it come for the little jobs he had to be up every morning early to start work and he needed to get them sorted but how could he when he was never in so towards the middle of the month Jon had applied for a home help to help him with do all the little stuff that person was supposed to show up a week ago an they never did and today was supposed to be the day for their arrival or he was going to be saying something. Looking up at the time it was getting late getting up he walked over to the phone picking it up he was about to start letting his temper show when a knock came to the door. Looking at the time it was half 10 at night whoever it was had to be kidding surely. Putting his coffee down Jon walked towards the door and opened it.

Looking down his eyes met the young woman's realising who she was he was about to shut the door on her.

"Hey wait a minute" Star snapped "You ask for help and when she gets here you shut the door in her face" Feeling rather annoyed she stood on his door step arms folded across her chest. 

Opening the door again Jon stood looking down at her. "Your here for the job?" he asked her not sure what to believe

"Erm yh the last time i checked i was" Star giggled trying to lighten the mood a little.
"I thought you worked at a record store" he asked her standing with his back to the door.

"Yh i did but i kinda need the money i have my sister to support as well as me" she snapped not meaning too. "But its good if you dont want my help then fine" turning to walk away Star felt annoyed so much for the kind sweet hearted rock star everyone was talking about he was nothing but a prick. 

"Wait" he called after her as she closed the gate behind her. Looking back at him she stopped and waited on him to talk.

"Look im sorry its been a long month i havent exactly had the best time, come on in eh lets get you sorted with your room seeing as your going to be living here" 

Opening the gate Star made her way back up the path. stopping at the door she waited on him to step aside and invite her in she wanst just going to walk in with out being invited in. 

"Come in" he lowered his voice it was a little more gentle to what he had greeted her with. returning it with a smile she slowly inched her way inside putting her bags down she took her jacket off and looked round before picking her bags up again to follow him into the bedroom. 

"I hope you find this room ok, if not there is 2 other rooms you can choose from, i get up at 8 but ill expect you to be up at least an hour early i have loads of the paper work i need to do and i...."
"I know i kinda guessed what i needed to do Jon i wont get in your way ill keep my head down and i will have everything done for you when you get home" she replied "And when you get home tomorrow night your dinner will be on the table waiting for you" she smiled putting her suit case on the little dresser she opened it up and looked round the room searching for the drawers.

Walking over to the large built in cupboard Jon pulled the draws open and stood watching her as she unpacked all her things on to the bed in little piles.

"All the drawer space was built into this cupboard so you dont need the drawers saves on the space and looks so much tidier" he smiled.

"Thank you" starting to put her things way Jon left her to it and went off back downstairs. placing a photo of her and her sister on the side board she lay down looking at it known she was only going to miss her more and worry about her now she was further away they had always been close to her sister even tho she had some one there with her she wasnt happy that she couldnt be there for her if she needed anything. Getting her cell out her bag she text her sister too see if she was ok.

Star knew all to well he little sister was going to be ok but the worry was still there she had always played mom with her she had no other choice in the matter. Hearing her phone go off a few minutes later she flipped oven her phone to see a photo of her sister pop up with relax i love you so much cant wait till you get back under it. trying hard not to laugh she could never get over how laid back her sister was over everything and how she always found something to turn a bad situation good about to turn her phone off Star heard her text alert go off over and over again what was she doing, taking her phone out from under he pillow she couldnt help but giggle when she saw loads of photos of her sister pulling faces at her when she opened the messages untill the last one where she had sent a photo of the both of them taking just before left.sitting her phone on the  drawers she set her alarm and lay looking at the photo of her sister and her till her eyes were closed and she had falling off to sleep.

Chapter 2

It had been over a week since he had heard about her death, the singer sat looking at the paper work in front of him. what was once a reminder of the pretty little six year old girl that called him her best friend every time he visited her sweet little face always brightened up his day she always reminded him of his own daughter. Tears filled his eyes as he sat looking at a picture he got of her thru the post off her mother.
Looking at the photo he didnt notice his friends walk in ready to start the work, Seeing jon really down David walked over and put his hand on his friends shoulder.
"Hey how you holding up" he whispered comforting seeing the photo in his hand. "She knew you thought of her and thats what kept her going for as long as she did she met her hero and thats everything she wanted you made that little girl so happy jon you made her time with you special and thats all the matters" David assured him.
"Yeah but still she was so young it just wasnt right not at her age not her" He whispered his voice getting lower his whisper was so quiet David was surprised he could hear his friend.

Walking into the room Richie and Tico fell quiet when they saw jon slouched over the table almost in tears. they knew how much he had taken to the little girl he treat her like she was his own and now she was gone the pain just would not leave him. Looking at each other they sat down not saying another word to any one he got up and walked into the recording part.
"Hes pretty beat up about it huh" Tico answered looking at his friend trip over the stool and almost throw it thru the window.
"Maybe we should just give it a miss he cant work when hes like that"
"Well we could but we need to get this sorted and he knows it, she wasnt family she was just a fan he really needs to pull himself together"
"Just a fan" over hearing what Richie had said Jon looked up clenching his fists tightly together Jon grabbed his jacket and left slamming the door into the wall.

Jumping in to the car Jon went for a long walk pulling up next to the park he got out and started into the entrance when he thought he head something behind him.
"Stop it Jon come on man your cracking up" ignoring the familiar sound of a young girl crying out his name he tried to bite his tongue and keep walking.
"Jon" the faint cries got louder and louder as he walked
"Oh my god stop it all ready" he cried "Your gone i couldn't help you im sorry" Braking down Jon collapsed onto the bench putting his head in his hands he tried to ignore the gentle brushing against his hands.
"Why do you haunt me" he soft cries were muffled out by the tears that fell down his face.
"Jon" Taking his hand in hers the little girl pulled herself up onto the bench beside him.
About to take his hand away he looked up, his face went pale and his words got trapped in his throat falling backwards he landed flat on the grass. Jumping up the little girl ran to his side and curled up over him giving him a cuddle.

"Lauren.... but how?" the tears came faster as he held on to her his smile came back on his face.
"Her father lied to you he got jealous of how much you had spent on her so the sick fuck made up she had died and called you to tell you" her mother replied watching her little girl laying over the singer not letting him up. "Lauren come on let Jon up"
"She's fine really" Jon laughed. "How you been" he asked sitting up still cuddling the little girl. Kissing her cheek the singer didnt want to let her go at first.
"Were both good she had the operation they managed to get rid of it" her mother smiled sitting down on the grass beside him.
"We came to say goodbye" she answered sadly "Were moving away from here away from her father"
"Oh i see, i hope you are very happy and that you both have a good life" he smiled looking down at Lauren who was now curled up on his knee slowly drifting asleep. kissing her head he slowly got to his feet hugging her he walked over to her mom and handed her over hugging her tightly one last time Jon give lauren back to her mom.

"You liked that sweetheart" her mom asked watching Lauren's little face all light up after seeing her friend again.
"I hope that the both of you will be ok and have a good life and if there is anything you need hun anything at all just let me know" Jon smiled hugging her before kneeling back down to see Lauren.
"Be good for mom eh?" he smiled at her holding her hands. "You will have to tell me where you are so i can send the tickets off for the next concert" he smiled giving her another hug.
Seeing them to the airport he sat and watched them as they boarded the plane waving them off he waited till the plane was gone completely then drove off back to the studio known that now at least she was safe and well but hurt that anyone could lie about their child like that.
